In 2003 Couturier and designer Maurizio Galante, in partnership with trend forecast analyst and designer Tal Lancman founded the creative studio INTERWARE.

MAURIZIO GALANTE

Maurizio Galante haute couture celebrates a body of work that spans over 30 years of the French couturier and designer’s career. Galante is one of the world’s most respected haute couture fashion designers, having won numerous awards, and in 2008 was appointed Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture in recognition of his contribution to the French fashion industry.

After studying architecture and then fashion at the Accademia della moda e del  costume in Rome, Maurizio Galante moved to Paris. Since 2008, he presented his collections as an official member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. His fashion house is part of this closed circle of prestigious Parisian houses who are entitled to this recognized label.

The work of Maurizio Galante can be defined as a perfect balance between sophistication and discretion, rigor and poetry, pace and modernism, tradition and innovation.

His creations, in many areas it addresses, are “objects of desire”, “conversation pieces” destined to elicit emotions. His inspiration and his approach embrace and transfigure traditional craftsmanship in exquisite designs, stylish and contemporary.

Maurizio Galante creations are included in the permanent collections of major international Fashion and Art museums and he has participated in various exhibitions, including the Victoria & Albert museum in London, the Museum of Decorative Arts in the Louvre in Paris, Galliera museum in Paris, Kyoto Fashion Museum, MOMA museum of modern art in New York, Grand Palais in Paris, the Museum of Art and Industry in Saint Etienne, la Triennale museum in Milan, and MUDAM Modern Art Museum in Luxembourg, and Pompidou Centre in Paris.

TAL LANCMAN

Tal Lancman is a designer and trend-forecast analyst. He has been an editor-creative director for Textile View magazine, the leading industry magazine defining trends in colours, textile, fashion, interior design, and marketing for 17 years.

His editorial series ‘Interware, Transversal Design’ and ‘The Art of Living, published in Textile View, focus on a transversal approach, emphasizing the meeting point between different disciplines: design, fashion, architecture and art.

Tal Lancman’s broad spectrum of design and trend-forecast consultancy experiences range from textiles and fashion, to design, sport, and beauty companies. He has acted as creative director and curator for various projects. 

Tal Lancman has presented his work and installations at Musée des Beaux-Arts, Calais / Cité de la Dentelle et de la Mode, the Lace and Fashion Museum, Calais / Carnavalet Museum, Paris / Centre Pompidou, Paris / Galerie des Gobelins, Mobilier National, Paris / MOMA New York, USA / MUDAM  Museum of Modern Art Grand-Duc Jean, Luxembourg / Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris / Musée d’Art et d’Industrie, Saint-Etienne / Triennale Design Museum, Milan / Eretz Israel Museum, Tel Aviv, Israel / Palermo Botanical Garden, Sicily, Italy. 

He has curated exhibitions in France, the United States, and Israel. 

In 2025, he was made a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in Paris by the French Ministry of Culture.
